Baidu voted "2005 Best Employer"

Dec. 29 2005, Baidu was honored with "2005 CCTV China Best Employer" together with Haier, Lenova, and Yili. Baidu is the youngest company ever to win the special honor.

CCTV Business Channel sponsored the poll which combines internal and external studies from businesses, college students, and experts. Baidu's main satisfaction votes came from three aspects: "providing job growth oppertunities", "working with joy", and "keep innovation in everybody's mind".

On receiving the reward, Baidu's CEO Robin Li said that the winning is a reflection of Baidu's culture which focuses on "equality, respect, and growth".

According to Baidu, since the founding of the company, the loss of employees to competitors, especially from the core talent pool has been extremely low even with the fierce competition from large multinationals.
